Technetix to provide Canal Digital with Access Passive RF products

Technetix Group, a global broadband cable and telecommunications equipment provider, has been selected by Norwegian based cable operator Canal Digital, to supply a range of its Access Network RF Passive devices to support the ongoing upgrade program within its HFC network.
Technetix will provide all Access Network RF Passive products within the Canal Digital HFC 2.0 network investment. Offering a comprehensive range of high-quality, 1.2 GHz passives for optimised distribution of RF signals, the Technetix products are designed to meet the needs of DOCSIS 3.1 technology.
Technetix passives give outstanding mechanical performance and can be placed easily into a variety of configurations for maximum network flexibility. The cable network upgrade investment is significant in European scale and the first DOCSIS 3.1 upgrade project in Nordic countries. Technetix was selected after a thorough tendering process thanks to its superior product performance, competitive price and readiness to deliver a full access network solution with immediate effect, compatible with DOCSIS 3.1 standard. Canal Digital is the largest supplier of cable TV and broadband on HFC-technology in Norway.
