eMedia Network builds iON IPTV service on Akamai

Akamai Technologies, a the global player in Content Delivery Network (CDN) services, has announced that eMedia Network is using Akamai’s Media Delivery Solutions to deliver broadcast-quality video and radio content on its global OTT/IPTV platform, iON. The partnership has enabled eMedia to improve customer experiences and penetrate new markets across Europe, North America and Oceania (Australia and New Zealand).
eMedia specialises in digital video broadcasting, distribution and monetisation of multicultural television and radio content.
