Babcock brings Wellbeing Network to Sky
February 2, 2016
Babcock is providing a complete playout and distribution solution to support the Wellbeing Network’s launch onto the UK Sky platform. The e-commerce website has expanded onto television to reach an even wider audience. Wellbeing is being played out from Babcock’s central London facility with ingest and the addition of dynamic graphics, as well as multiplexing, uplinking, satellite capacity and extensive archive storage all provided by Babcock as part of a three year package. Wellbeing is available on SKY EPG 252 (Lifestyle).
“The Wellbeing Network is a multi-platform proposition with a growing loyal customer base and an established range of products. Taking their brand to TV enables them to really bring their brand to life through engaging customised content on a channel built around their core message of healthy living. This actively enhances Wellbeing’s brand while accessing fresh audiences through a valuable new revenue stream. With quality and dependability being key to Wellbeing Network’s success, we are able to provide all elements of the playout and distribution solution for a highly efficient and effective broadcast chain. We wish Wellbeing Network every success,” commented Tom Eyton-Jones of Babcock.
