FunimationNow anime streaming service

Funimation Entertainment has announced a partnership with Sony DADC New Media Solutions to use the Ven.ue platform to launch a new ad-free streaming anime service branded FunimationNow.
FunimationNow subscribers will be able to watch ad-free, HD streaming of Funimation’s library of over 400 anime titles, both subtitled and dubbed, including Dragon Ball Z, Attack on Titan, Fairy Tail, One Piece, Tokyo Ghoul, Space Dandy and more.
The service will launch in early February in the US, UK and Canada, with completely redesigned iOS, Android, and Kindle apps, as well as new Apple TV and Amazon Fire TV apps. The apps will have Airplay and Cast compatibility. Also launching in February is a new Windows 10 Universal app.
“Our partnership with Sony, the very best in this space, will help power the launch of FunimationNow, our next generation of innovation for anime fans,” said Mike DuBoise, Chief Operating Officer of Funimation, in a press release. “We’re now uniquely positioned to deliver new and compelling experiences that will be integrated across multiple screens, platforms, and channels, making it easier for fans to discover, share, and experience extraordinary anime.”
