Zappware and ALi strategic partnership
January 5, 2016
Zappware and ALi have announced a strategic partnership in which Zappware solution is pre-integrated onto ALi’s platform. The partnership will enable Pay-TV providers and telecom operators to deliver feature-rich IPTV or hybrid services with highly responsive and personalised user experience.
The joint solution supports full HD1080P60, MVC video decoding and multi-stream, as well as the Zappware user interface. The solution additionally enables remote control of the set-top box through smart devices including smartphones and smartwatches.
Zappware is around since 2001 and has a sound experience in digital TV deployments around the world with over 25 service providers running their solution serving millions of end-users.
Patrick Vos, CEO of Zappware elaborates, “Zappware integrates best of breed technology together with partners to guarantee a robust and responsive user experience. This is exactly why I am so excited about this partnership with ALi. The integration of our user interface onto the ALi hybrid chipset will bring the user experience that will trigger end-users to use the video solution more, increase video ARPU, create stickiness and turn viewers into consumers.”
