Freesat boosts FTA music and entertainment
October 1, 2015
UK FTA satellite TV service Freesat is launching five new channels. Joining Freesat’s music and entertainment genres, the new channels will further expand the platform’s free-to-air offering.
YourTV, Fox International Channels’ first-ever channel for the UK free-to-air market, and four new music channels – Chilled, Now Music TV, Clubland TV and Channel AKA – will be added to Freesat’s line-up.
Paul Gilshan, marketing and communications director at Freesat, said the new channels today would further strengthen Freesat’s music and entertainment offering. “Free-to-air viewers in the UK have more choice than ever when it comes to TV. And best of all, it’s subscription free,” he added.
