Arkena announced a partnership with the Sweden’s Cantemo for the integration of its Media Asset Management (MAM) solution Cantemo Portal to Arkena’s new media workflow orchestration platform Harmony. This partnership aims at significantly simplifying the management of complex media workflows. Arkena is now offering the Media & Entertainment industry futureproof, more agile and efficient SaaS platforms for media management and workflow orchestration thanks to a Business Process Manager (BPM). Arkena and Cantemo share a common vision for open and agile services, leaning on the standards of the industry as well as on Service Oriented Architectures (SOA) and webservices that make the integration with third-party systems easier. In the complex process of media content processing, the MAM and the BPM are two essential components that are compulsory for an optimised asset lifecycle management. Therefore, Arkena and Cantemo have chosen to combine their knowledge and expertise in order to simplify the design, operation and monitoring of media workflows. The two platforms are easily customisable and configurable. As they are interconnected, they offer users a unified experience for the management of their operations, either from the Harmony BPM interface, or from the Cantemo Portal MAM interface. « We are delighted by this partnership agreement, that enables us to offer our customers a modern, extensive and customisable MAM solution that adapts to the specific constraints of every user, thanks to the native HTML5 approach as well as the integration of third-party technologies », says François Lignon, VP Products at Arkena. « We are happy of this new collaboration that enables us to offer the media industry a BPM platform, dedicated to the orchestration of media content workflows, and that meets the needs of our customers in terms of volumes, efficiency, security and budget », affirms Julien Gachot, CEO of IVORY – the company that represents Cantemo in France. The two companies are exhibiting at IBC and showcasing respectively their OTT delivery and Content Management solutions for Arkena – booth 1.B79 – and Media Asset Management solutions for Cantemo – booth 7.K01a.
