Airey quits Yahoo

Dawn Airey has stepped down as Yahoo’s European boss after a little over two years.
The former Channel 5 chief executive, who is currently advising the UK government on BBC charter renewal, confirmed she had left company with immediate effect to “pursue external opportunities”.
Airey will be replaced at Yahoo by Nick Hugh, the US internet company’s general manager of advertising for EMEA.
