Telecom Italia Group and Mediaset have partnered to offer TIM customers access the new “Premium Online” TV offer through the TIMvision set-top box.
Fixed and mobile TIM customers will be able to access the whole “Premium Online” platform with exclusive offers from September.
With “Premium Online”, all the contents of the Mediaset Premium pay-TV service are available online for the first time: live, on-demand and in HD, on all devices, from tablets to smartphones.
The offer includes 22 live channels and over 6,000 films, TV episodes and sports content, including live football in HD (Champions League and Italian Serie A football).
An application will be created and built in to make the service directly available on the home TVs through the TIMvision STB as well as through smart TVs and mobile devices.
The offer will be aimed at people who have a TIM fibre optic (with speeds from 30 Mbps) or ADSL connection that can also be used on 3G and 4G mobile networks and will be a driver for the development of ultrafast broadband.
