Kabel Deutschland positive Q1

Kabel Deutschland, Germany’s largest cable network operator, has released its consolidated financial results for the first quarter ended June 30th 2015 of fiscal year 2015/16.The company described the results as a “positive start to the fiscal year”.
Highlights for the first quarter include:
Internet RGUs grew by 102,000 quarter on quarter. The company now reports 2.7 million Internet RGUs. Net additions from managed migrations from Vodafone DSL amounted to ~22 thousand in the first quarter
Premium TV RGUs increased by 38 thousand net adds quarter on quarter to a total of 2.6 million Pay TV and DVR RGUs
Total blended ARPU per subscriber for the quarter reached €19.25 – up by €1.39 or 7.8 per cent on the prior year’s first quarter
Revenue grew by 7.1 per cent year on year to €526 million. The Company posted a net profit of €66 million (versus a net profit of €47 million in the first quarter of last year)
