Harmonic mixed Q2
July 28, 2015
Harmonic’s was a “tale of two businesses” in Q2 said CEO Patrick Harshman revealing a 13 per cent rise in sales for the VOS software media processing platform but a 28 per cent decline at its Cable Edge (QAM, CCAP) business.
Overall Q2 revenues were down 1 per cent, to $103 million (€93.2m). Harmonic posted a net loss of $1 million down from a year-ago net loss of $2.7 million.
“It’s increasingly clear that Harmonic’s VOS platform is a real winner,” Harshman said in the earnings call.
