MStar integrates Intertrust’s ExpressPlay UHD

Intertrust Technologies has announced that MStar, a global semiconductor company for display and digital home solutions, has integrated Intertrust’s ExpressPlay UHD in MStar’s System-on-Chips (SoC’s) for 4K TVs, set-top boxes, and OTT/IP box.
By integrating ExpressPlay UHD with MStar TEE, MStar can provide customers with the ability to meet Hollywood standards for content protection. ExpressPlay UHD is the most widely deployed DRM in China and the choice of global national initiatives in Japan and Europe.
