Davidson steps down as A+E MD
July 16, 2015
Tom Davidson is exiting A+E Networks UK – a joint venture between A+E Networks and Sky – after serving as Managing Director for seven years. His exit comes as the company is undergoing a management restructuring which will see Dean Possenniskie head the company as of July 20th as part of his current role as Managing Director, EMEA for A+E Networks.
Davidson oversaw the launch of new channel brands, including Lifetime and H2. During his time in the MD role, A+E Networks UK’s cumulative subscriber base doubled to more than 100 million households worldwide.
“It has been a great pleasure to lead the venture over the past seven years through a period of high growth. I am sure the company will continue to grow and succeed under Dean’s leadership and I wish the best for the global A+E Networks family in the future,” commented Davidson.
