Wuaki.tv, the European VoD service, has appointed ex-Apple iTunes executive Sébastien Janin as the Head of the International Business Development.

Janin brings to Wuaki.tv over 20 years of experience in the VoD field having worked for the last eight within Apple’s iTunes. In this role Janin was responsible for launching and managing the roll out of the iTunes film service in Europe and Latin America. His final two years with iTunes saw Janin heading up the independent film business for international, delivering day and date release activities across several European countries, pioneering new ways to discover cinema talents.

Prior to Apple, Janin spent twelve years releasing among the best of European movies to an International audience as part of his role as VP of Home Entertainment at Studiocanal.

Wuaki.tv is in the process of an aggressive European expansion campaign and has challenged itself to be available in more than 10 countries by the end of 2015.
