Spike TV UK launch with Breaking Bad

Viacom’s Spike TV has acquired critically-acclaimed US drama Breaking Bad ahead of its launch next month. It marks the first time all five seasons of the AMC drama will be broadcast on UK television.
Spike TV has also ordered its first UK commission. Tattoo UK will be a localised versions of US reality series Tattoo Nightmares. It will be made by 5Production, the programme-making arm of Channel 5, which Viacom acquired last year.
Spike TV channel launches in the UK this spring, replacing Viacom’s music channel Viva on Freeview.
