Netflix outspends BBC, HBO, Discovery on content

SVoD services will see huge growth over the next five years as traditional cable TV subscriptions continue to decline, according to Ben Keen, chief analyst and VP, consumer media at IHS. However, the transition to digital and the success of cable broadband mean that cable is still a strong industry.
