ITV Encore acquires US Broadchurch remake

ITV Encore has acquired the rights to the US adaptation of Broadchurch – ITV’s hit crime drama. Re-titled Gracepoint, the series will debut on the Sky and Now TV channel in April.
Sasha Breslau, Head of Acquired Series, ITV said; ‘We’re extremely pleased to give our viewers the chance to enjoy Gracepoint, an adaptation with such rich associations, but which stands on its own as a compelling, distinctive piece of drama’.
In the US, Gracepoint was cancelled by Fox after one season due to poor ratings.
