Irdeto appoints Lowther CEO
March 12, 2015
Irdeto has confirmed that Doug Lowther will be assuming the role of Chief Executive Officer following Graham Kill’s resignation in September 2014.
Lowther joins Irdeto from International Datacasting Corporation (IDC), where he currently serves as CEO. Prior to IDC, Lowther was EVP of Irdeto’s Digital TV business and had been with the company for over nine years.
“It is an honour for me to return to Irdeto at a time when the company holds a strong market position and is exploring many exciting areas of expansion,” said Lowther. “Irdeto has been a highly innovative company for many years, and it has been inspiring to see that tradition continued with new offerings such as Keys and Credentials. I thank Graham for his leadership and mentorship over the years. I look forward to continuing Irdeto’s proud tradition of enabling operators and content owners to grow revenues through innovative solutions that deliver the world’s best content to any screen.”
