Better Call Saul sets US cable record

The first episode of Better Call Saul has broken records for the biggest US cable TV series debut in the major demographic.
The much-hyped Breaking Bad spin-off attracted 4.4 million viewers aged between 18- 49, about five times as many as Breaking Bad‘s own debut in 2008, with the total amounting to 6.9 million.
The record was previously held by HBO series
