4K Xbox Ones and PS4s?
February 3, 2015
Netflix has kick-started rumours that Sony and Microsoft are planning new Ultra-HD hardware revisions for their consoles – but for movies not games.
According to a report by the Huffington Post, Netflix executive John Hunt claims that Sony has ‘promised’ a new version of the console that will include 4K video capability and that they would ‘expect eventually’ for it to support HDR.
Neither Sony nor Microsoft have denied the rumours, and Sony has even admitted it is considering adding 4K support to its latest console.
