BBC Worldwide Taiwan content deal

BBC Worldwide claims it has signed a content deal in Taiwan through an agreement with Chunghwa Telecom-backed channel operator ELTA TV.
The deal includes channels, programme sales and VoD platform from the factual, lifestyle, light entertainment and news archives of the BBC’s commercial arm.
Following the agreement four BBC-branded channels – namely BBC World News HD, BBC Knowledge HD, BBC Lifestyle and BBC Entertainment – will launch on Taiwan’s Chunghwa Telecom-owned ‘MOD’ IPTV platform.
Viewers in Taiwan will be able to watch series including The Graham Norton Show, Top Gear and Gordon Ramsay’s Kitchen Nightmares.
