Vubiquity appoints Ruczaj
January 26, 2015
Vubiquity, a global provider of premium content services, has announced the appointment of Nick Ruczaj as Senior Vice President of Commercial for EMEA and APAC. Ruczaj will oversee the company’s sales efforts across the region and head up its on-the-ground presence in the UK, Greece, Germany, UAE, South Africa and Australia.
The new appointment comes on the back of a number of significant successes for Vubiquity in the region, including launching eircom’s video on demand service and providing premium international content to Cellcom Israel.
Ruczaj previously led Vubiquity’s business development in emerging markets, working with telecommunication companies and mobile operators across Africa and the Middle East. Having worked in the digital video and IPTV space for more than ten years, he previously held leadership roles at Move Networks and Inuk Networks and was also founder of the Freewire platform, providing triple-play services to more than 160,000 students in university halls of residence across the UK, US and Canada.
