Level 3 Communications has been awarded additional business with the Germany-based media group ProSiebenSat.1. Level 3 will now provide services to the group across four business units: ProSiebenSat.1 Digital, ProSiebenSat.1 Games, ProSiebenSat.1 Produktion and maxdome GmbH.

The use of Level 3’s content delivery network (CDN) and security services supports the ProSiebenSat.1 group in achieving the diversification of revenue streams beyond TV advertising, which is one of its key strategic goals.

“We have been working with ProSiebenSat.1 since 2009, becoming a key supplier to the group,” said Gerald Rubant, director Sales, Enterprise Business Germany & Northern Europe at Level 3. “While we grow our business with ProSiebenSat.1, our objective remains the same: to continue delivering solutions that enhance their strategic business development by helping them increase their competitive edge.”
