Bahrain TV goes global

Tiny Bahrain is to export its main channel overseas. In an agreement structured between Arabsat and Globecast, the channel will be seen over the USA, South America, Asia and Africa.
Bahrain TV, says the country’s Information Affairs Authority, will now be able to project the nation’s voice worldwide.
The channel will be seen over North America on Galaxy 19, and over South America via Hispasat 1. Its Asian coverage will be from AsiaSat 5, while African coverage will be from Arabsat 5C.
