Spain-based VoD provider Wuaki.tv is strengthening its management team in an attempt to boost its European expansion. The company has appointed Sid Jayant (former European Product Manager for Video at Samsung) as a new Global Product Director to oversee the management and development of products through all platforms and devices in which Wuaki.tv is available: Smart TVs, game consoles, tablets, smartphones, Chromecast, PCs and portable computers.
The company is now focused on its European expansion with its launch in France and shortly in Germany with plans to be present in 15 European countries by the end of 2015.
The online streaming video service provides movies and TV series which can be rented individually for a 48 hour period at €0.99 or for permanent ownership if subscribed to Wuaki Selection for €6.99 a month.
