Spain’s pay-TV up 0.5m subs in a year

The Spanish pay TV market is recovering thanks to Telefonica’s boost with Movistar TV. For the fourth quarter in a row, the pay-TV business has experienced a significant growth ending the second quarter of the year with 4,309,356 subscribers, up from 3,969,823 the previous quarter and 3,771,617 in the same period last year, according to the regulator CNMC.
