Nigerians to spend $4.2bn on digital TV

Nigeria is embracing digital TV. It is committed to meeting the July 31st 2015 deadline for ending analogue TV, and in the process its citizens will spend “not less than N700 billion” ($4.2bn) on decoders or set-top boxes to allow them to receive digital TV.
