The new deal builds on a recent announcement that mobile now comes as standard for Plus TV, as TalkTalk has added a free mobile SIM worth £90 to the package, offering 100 minutes, 250 texts and 200Mb of data a month. Plus TV also includes seven Sky entertainment channels – such as Sky 1, Sky Living and Sky Sports News HQ – the ability to pause, rewind and record live TV through a YouView+ box, alongside totally unlimited broadband and anytime calls.
TalkTalk has also revealed that all 1.1 million TalkTalk TV homes can also watch Sky Movies for free for a month. The promotion provides access to 11 Sky Movies channels and hundreds of blockbuster movies on demand. Customers have until November 10 to sign up.
Tristia Harrison, consumer MD at TalkTalk, commented: “At TalkTalk we’re on a mission to ensure every home across Britain can enjoy all the TV, broadband and technology they need, at a price they want. TV is such a huge part of Christmas and our half price deal and exciting additions to the TV service are perfect for cash-conscious families. As Britain’s fastest growing TV service, this is great example of how we’re bringing our customers even more of what they love. It’s TV with all the trimmings without the price tag.”
