Orange’s Romanian satellite DTH pay-TV service says it has won 110,000 television subscribers since launch in June 2013.
Orange Romania CEO Jean Francois Fallacher, speaking at a local conference organised by the Ziarul Financiar newspaper, said end-users are increasingly accessing TV services from their smartphones, tablets and computers, as well as the TV set.
Orange TV in Romania is beaming out 111 channels, 48 of which in HD. However, referring specifically to his theme on ‘second screen’ access, Fallacher said some 60 per cent of end-users were accessing Orange TV on smartphones, 30 per cent on tablets and the remaining 10 per cent on computers and laptops.
