Amino Nordija middleware integration
September 10, 2014
Amino, a specialist in IPTV, has announced that its new IPTV platform has been successfully integrated with the Nordija fokusOn, the only true widget-based IPTV and multiscreen middleware and service delivery platform.
Recently launched in Europe – and already gaining market traction – Amino’s A150 set-top box offers a range of performance, content and user experience enhancements. Following extensive lab testing, the new platform will now support the Nordija fokusOn HTML5 and Widget enabled user experience – and is available commercially from this month.
Amino CEO Donald McGarva said: “Our customers are demanding more flexibility and performance from all parts of the value chain – yet still require the security which comes from selecting partners who can deliver quality proven solutions that deliver great entertainment experiences. Nordija and ourselves are very closely aligned in our thinking on the future direction of home entertainment and look forward to working together on delivering innovative new personalised multiscreen propositions to the market.”
