Televisa takes 100% of Cablecom

Mexico’s dominant broadcaster Televisa, has confirmed that it has now acquired 100% of the equity interest of Grupo Cable TV (Cablecom). The move follows its August 2013 acquisition of a 51 per cent interest in the operator.
The transaction involved the conversion of certain debt instruments previously subscribed and a payment of Ps.8.550 billion (€490m).
