BSkyB doubles investment in virtual reality start-up
July 28, 2014
BSkyB has more than doubled its investment in Jaunt, a Silicon Valley-based firm developing 360-degree virtual reality cinema.
The $400,000 equity investment follows a $350,000 equity investment made by Sky during an earlier round of funding in December 2013.
“These investments provide Sky with additional insight into developments within the field,” the company said in a statement.
