July 28, 2014
Amazon’s third original kids’ series, Annedroids, is now available for unlimited streaming on Prime Instant Video at no additional cost to Prime members. Created by Emmy-nominated JJ Johnson and Sinking Ship Entertainment, and aimed at children aged four through seven, Annedroids is a live-action adventure series about a young female scientist, her human friends and their android assistants, and the amazing scientific discoveries they make.
“It’s a pleasure to be working with Amazon on a series that organically showcases the STEAM curriculum by way of a relatable girl,” said creator and executive producer JJ Johnson. “With ‘Anne’ at the helm of the show, there’s nothing she likes more than getting her hands dirty to make things, break things apart to see how they work and mixing things together to see what happens. The series is entertaining, enlightening and educational that the entire family will enjoy.”
Amazon recently launched its two first kids series, Tumble Leaf which won the 2014 Annecy International Animated Film Festival award and Creative Galaxy from acclaimed creator Angela Santomero. Both series are available for unlimited streaming in Prime Instant Video.
