HBO Nordic and CBS Studios have agreed a multi-year licensing partnership that will see the network air subtitled Showtime programming within 24 hours of its US premiere.
HBO Nordic, which offers a linear and on-demand pay-TV service in Denmark, Sweden, Norway and Finland, has bought exclusive first-run rights for all of Showtime’s original series in Sweden, Denmark, Norway and Finland, including Penny Dreadful, Banshee and Ray Donovan. New shows will be broadcast on HBO Nordic with local subtitles.
Other shows in the package include an array of Showtime’s library titles including Dexter and Nurse Jackie.
