French pay-TV sports channel beIN Sports is set to launch an OTT channel.
Branded beIN Sports Connect, the OTT offering will give subscribers access to beIN Sports channels beIN Sports 1 and 2 as well as event channels beIN Sports Max, from a tablet, smartphone or computer.
Several kinds of subscription packages will be available starting at €11 a month with a 12 month contract.
This new service targets both French viewers receiving only the free DTT channels or those watching TV from their computer because they don’t have a TV set, beIN Sports explains.
beIN Sports Connect will be accessible from a dedicated app.
