ONO: Sales, subs and losses all up

Spain’s largest cable company ONO saw its losses increase by 4.3 per cent in the first quarter of the year to €24 million, with an EBITDA falling by 7.7 per cent to €165 million.
Nevertheless, the company, now under control of Vodafone, increased revenues by 2.8 per cent to €410 million and added 33,000 new customers to 1.9 million customers.
A record 283,000 new services were added, up 5.4 per cent with TiVo reaching 382,000 homes, 49 per cent of the total TV subs. As for broadband, ONO added more than 30,000 new clients reaching a total of 1,561,000.
