upc cablecom launches mobile service
April 28, 2014
upc cablecom, Switzerland’s largest provider of TV and super-fast Internet, has tested its new mobile services and the associated processes successfully together with customers and employees in recent months.
Since it is a new product for the company, upc cablecom has decided to launch its mobile offer gradually. The launch will complete upc cablecom’s product portfolio and make the company a full-service telecommunications provider in Switzerland. The mobile service offers customers a further possibility to use the company’s products outside their homes. It has already launched the Wi-Free pilot project, which allows Internet customers to surf the web with their mobile device while at friends’ homes, or to watch TV while out and about with the Horizon TV and Horizon TV Remote smartphone apps.
Customers who use one or more upc cablecom products will have the opportunity to order the new mobile offer first.
