Turner hires BBC’s McDonough

Turner Broadcasting System has hired BBC Worldwide’s Ian McDonough to lead its new Northern Europe unit.
McDonough was BBCWW’s EVP, CEMA (Central Eastern Europe, Middle East and Africa) region.
At Turner he is to be senior VP and managing director, Northern Europe. His predecessor Jaime Ondarza was promoted to senior VP, Southern Europe and Africa to replace the long-serving Domingo Corral.
