Canada: Adult TV not homely enough…

Canada’s adult TV broadcasters are having problems with the TV regulator. It isn’t because of the quality or content of their TV output, but because they are not meeting tough home production rules.
The Canadian Radio-Television & Telecommunications Commission has issued formal warning notices to three channels: AOV Adult Movies, XXX Action Clips and Maleflixxx that they have failed to meet Canada’s 35 per cent local production rules. Furthermore the three channels are also alleged to have failed to provide close captioning for 90 per cent of the output which caters for the hard of hearing.
The channel’s owners say only that has been an error.
