BT TV expands HD line-up

BT has added Discovery Channel, TLC, Animal Planet, British Eurosport and British Eurosport 2 to its high definition TV line-up. BT TV now offers up to 26 HD channels on its YouView service.
The new HD channels will be available as part of BT’s HD Extra bolt on, which remains at £3 a month and offers HD versions of most of BT’s Entertainment pack channels plus HD versions of BT Sport 1, BT Sport 2 and ESPN.
Alex Green, director of TV for BT, said: “Our new HD line-up offers viewers even more of their favourite channels in fantastic HD quality. This is just the latest in a series of new content deals we are offering on BT TV.”
