From David Del Valle in Madrid
Spain’s largest cable company ONO has launched an Internet TV service, branded ‘ONO TV online’, offering up to 40 TV channels and VoD content. Initially, the service is available on PCs and Apple Mac and iPad devices with plans to launch it on mobile phones and Android tablets in the near future.
With this move, ONO breaks into the online TV market in an attempt to boost subscriptions and new clients with a “quality” and integrated offer with the highest fibre optic speed, said Director of ONO Residential, Patricia Ferruz
ONO also announced that it has reached 1 million mobile clients with the addition of over 600,000 mobile lines in 2013.
