Deutsche Telekom powers Swiss VoD
November 13, 2013
Deutsche Telekom Business Development & Innovation (BDI), has announced that Teleboy, Switzerland’s leading live streaming service, is the first customer of VideoRise, BDI’s recently launched online video platform powered by Saffron Digital.
Teleboy is using VideoRise to launch Teleboy VoD, Switzerland’s first subscription VoD service, available on iPhone, iPad, and the Web with more than 2,500 hours of premium television content from Hollywood’s top studios, as well as content from the BBC.
BDI’s VideoRise is a complete end-to-end platform, which combines all the components necessary to manage and deliver a premium OTT service in one place. It features a one-stop digital rights management (DRM) system and high-quality, secure transmission. VideoRise prepares and catalogues each title for optimum playback on iOS and Web devices. Its content preparation system automates the workflow and can significantly reduce time to market and operational costs. It lets Teleboy easily provide compelling entertainment experiences that increase revenue and build viewer engagement.
