BBC appoints strategy boss

The BBC has promoted Gautam Rangarajan to director of strategy.
Rangarajan will be responsible for devising and implementing strategic projects across the BBC. He has worked in the BBC strategy team for the past five years and in his most recent role as controller, public service strategy, he led director general Tony Hall’s strategy review, which will prepare the broadcaster for the digital future.
