Univision sports app for Xbox One

Univision Communications, the Hispanic American media company, has confirmed the Univision Deportes app on Xbox One will be debuted to consumers when the new console launches on November 22nd. This will be the first Spanish-language sports app launched on Xbox One in the US.
“We are proud to continue our relationship with Microsoft which began with UVideos on Xbox 360,” said Scott Levine, senior vice president, Product at Univision Communications Inc. “Univision Deportes’ availability on Xbox One, combined with the power and new features of this new console allow us to bring unprecedented access to both of our audiences.”
The Univision Deportes application will allow fans to experience exclusive football content – including live streaming and VoD content of the most popular sports properties including Liga MX, the Mexican National Team and the 2014 World Cup. Additionally, the application will provide sports fans with 24/7 coverage of football worldwide, including the latest news, real-time results and stats, comprehensive videos and photos of the world’s most important soccer tournaments and leagues including the Liga MX, MLS, English Premier League, Spanish La Liga, Germany’s Bundesliga, Italy’s Serie A, and the Brasileirão, UEFA Champions League, Copa Libertadores, Copa Sudamericana and more.
