Mediaset to launch OTT service in December
November 11, 2013
From Branislav Pekic in Rome
Italian commercial broadcaster Mediaset is planning to launch its OTT service next month.
Infinity will be based on a pre-paid model, with users paying around €9 per month for access to the “all inclusive” catalogue. Purchases will be done directly online, via PayPal or credit card, with no-obligations, as users can stop paying at any time at no additional cost.
Infinity will consist of over 5,000 movies (from classics to recent releases), complete TV series, cartoons, and programmes from the Mediaset’s terrestrial TV channels. From day one, access will be possible on around twenty devices from launch, ranging from PCs, connected set-top boxes, smart TVs, smart phones, tablets and consoles.
