Netia selects Arris to power cable network
October 22, 2013
Netia, Poland’s largest alternative provider of fixed-line telecommunications has selected Arris to enable TV services over its newly acquired cable networks.
The Arris C4 CMTS and HFC networking solutions will power Netia’s new TV offerings and provide a scalable network infrastructure to support its burgeoning TV customer base. The solutions will be integrated by Vector, a Value Added Reseller for Arris in Poland.
“We required a flexible and scalable solution that could be deployed today,” said Mirosław Suszek, Netia’s COO. “Our investment in network solutions from Arris not only supports the demands of our network transformation project, but also prepares our cable network for tomorrow’s services.”
