Amazon’s LOVEFiLM has announced the arrival of its new and improved LOVEFiLM Instant streaming application on LG Smart TVs in the UK and Germany.

The enriched app allows LG Smart TV owners to find content easier than ever before with an improved search function and recommendation engine, navigate more efficiently with an optimised user interface, and plan the film and TV series they want to watch with the addition of the popular Watchlist feature. These new features are all complemented by LG’s unique Magic Remote Control, which uses point, motion, wheel and voice gesture to control the Smart TV interface for a seamless and intuitive user experience.

Revisiting content is also made simple with a display that keeps track of what is currently being viewed and the last location reached in that video – making it easier to resume viewing from the same spot on any LOVEFiLM Instant-enabled device.

The LOVEFiLM Instant streaming application for LG Smart TVs is available to download from the LG TV App Store.
