DTG welcomes new Spectrum Forum
September 25, 2013
The DTG, the industry association for digital television in the UK, has welcomed the launch of Intellect’s Spectrum Forum.
“The UK and Europe are moving towards decisions on spectrum that will have far-reaching and irreversible impact on DTT, changes that will require support from Ofcom and UK government. The DTG has a long body of work in this area, and is encouraged that Intellect has set up this new discussion group and supports all additional activity to help inform UK strategy with respect to policy and regulation,” said DTG.
Alongside these discussions, the DTG will continue its work with the government, European standards bodies, regulators and industry partners to ensure the stability and strength of the DTT platform through a number of productive strategic and technical work streams.
