September 20, 2013
Euronews has signed an agreement with CCSA, the Canadian cable operators association.
CCSA comprises more than 100 cable operators and distributes more than 200 channels all around the country. Through this agreement, all members of CCSA can broadcast Euronews which represents potentially 900,000 new households.
“I am really excited to announce this agreement with CCSA that will reinforce Euronews multilingualism in Canada, a bilingual country. We look forward to strengthening the European perspective on international news and world affairs and are sure it will provide valuable information for Canadian viewers. This agreement constitutes a major step forward in the expansion of Euronews in Canada”, said Arnaud Verlhac, Director of Worldwide Distribution.
