HBO launching French channel

HBO is teaming with Orange Cinema Series (OCS), the French telco’s premium bouquet, to launch OCS City, Generation HBO.
Premiering on October 10th, the new channel will air all new HBO series in a first-run window. The offer forms part of a five-year deal between HBO and OCS.
OCS City, Generation HBO also includes a new dedicated US+24 VoD service, which will offer viewers HBO series such as “Boardwalk Empire” and “True Blood” on Monday night primetime, less than a day after their first US airing.
OCS will also launch another VoD service, OCS Go, with an HBO category offering complete access to HBO classics such as “The Sopranos,” “The Wire,” and “Six Feet Under”
